Compliance note

Managed IT is delivered remotely through Zincat group delivery capabilities, including Easy Desk. Any physical on-site work in the U.S. requires separately arranged local partner coverage. Where support requires access to systems containing PHI, a BAA and appropriate safeguards apply. Group practices are ISO/IEC 27001-focused; we do not claim certification or HIPAA certification.

Background and common problems

When imaging, practice software, or phones fail, the clinical day stops. We provide remote, documented IT support for practices, with security basics treated as part of everyday work.

Healthcare offices depend on a tangle of systems: workstations in operatories, imaging software, the EHR or PMS, Microsoft 365, phones, and printers. Each vendor supports its own piece, and nobody owns the whole.

Zincat supports practice workstations, Microsoft 365, managed identity and MFA, approved endpoint controls, EHR/PMS vendor coordination, device inventory, patch cadence, backups, onboarding and offboarding, staff awareness, risk assessment support, and policies and audit evidence where contracted. We are not a HIPAA auditor, and there is no HIPAA certification for us to hold.

  • No system documentation
  • Vendors pointing at each other
  • Shared logins and no MFA
  • Untested backups
  • Former staff with active accounts
